Documentary 'Embedded Memory' Explores History of Slave Trade in Ghana, West Africa Richard Gale traveled for a month throughout Ghana, West Africa shooting a documentary entitled "Embedded Memory: A History of the Slave Trade in Northern Ghana," with Director and Co-Producer Joachim Agamba. The hour-long documentary traces the route people were taken through the country to eventually become slaves in the New World, and uncovers many revelations about the reality of the slave trade. Gale served as Co-Producer and Director of Photography. The project is intended for airing on PBS, and is currently in post-production. |
